Fanatic Fantasy Football History

Although I didn't know it at the time, I suppose the idea of running a fantasy football web site started in 1999. That's when I first played fantasy football on the web.

Up until that time I didn't even know such a game existed. The first thing I did was start a league. That turned out to be the fuel that lit the fire in my competitive veins.

I didn't win a championship that first year but I couldn't wait for the next year to roll around. Nine years and three championships later I'm still burning inside for more. More fantasy football competition, more friendships with people around the world, and more involvement in helping others enjoy their fantasy football experience.

2003 marked the year I found out I could play my favorite game and win more than tee shirts and hats! Although they were fine at the time. I started a league like the one's offered on this site. Many of the people that joined the 2003 league are still in it today. It's turned out to be the best fantasy football playing experience I've had the pleasure of being part of.

After the company hosting our league for 4 years quit hosting leagues I felt like I needed to do something. Feeling people needed a site they could depend on I thought about setting up my own site. But that meant learning to design a web site. I spent all of 2007 reading and designing, reading and designing. Enter FanaticFantasyFootball.com LLC in 2008.
