2011 "Bounce back Player of the Year"
Austin CollieWide Receiver, Indianapolis Colts
Prior to the 2010 NFL season, I ranked Austin Collie among the top 20 wide receivers for the fantasy football season. Collie suffered numerous viscous hits causing him to miss seven games due to concussions. He finished as the 32nd highest scoring fantasy football wide receiver for the year. Manning to Collie was a hot combination during the first six weeks of the season, as Collie was targeted 53 times for an average of 8.9 targets per game. Of those targets, Collie hauled in 44 for 503 yards two weeks before the regular season even hit the half way point. He was on his way to a big season. Colts offensive coordinator, Clyde Christensen, said Collie is one of the most gifted wide receivers he has seen in a long time. Collie runs precise routes and Peyton knows Collie will be in the right place at the right time. Austin Collie is the one player I will call the “Money Man” in 2011. With his talent, the Colts will get a helmet designed to keep Austin from suffering concussions and keep him in the game. Collie is tough and I pick him as my 2011 “Bounce back Player of the Year. I see him as one of my top 15 fantasy football wide receivers. See what other roundtable participants wrote Article provided by: J. Piatt
