Fanatic pick for 2010 NFL Rookie of the Year

It’s time to get down to some serious rookie predictions.  I’m torn between four players as I debate who will be the NFL Rookie of the Year.

After wading through a pile of stats, I believe these four players, Dez Bryant WR Dallas, Jahvid Best RB Detroit, Ryan Mathews RB San Diego, and Arrelious Benn WR Tampa Bay find themselves  in playing situations that present the best possible chance for them to succeed.

Dez Bryant is my pick to be the best rookie this year.  Bryant is as talented coming out of college as Calvin Johnson WR Detroit or Michael Crabtree WR San Francisco.  Dallas thought enough of him to trade up in first round of the draft to make sure they landed this big piece of the Super Bowl puzzle, solution.

Unlike the other three players mentioned, Bryant won’t be smothered by opposing team defenders.  The Cowboys have too many weapons in the form of Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Miles Austin, and some of the best running backs in the league, led by Felix Jones in 2010.

If you can get Dez Bryant in your draft, grab him right away.
